Almere Wijk 13 (1427)

Excavated in the Zuyderzee, the planking of this hull was of typical cog construction. The three bottom strakes on each side of the central plank were set edge-to-edge; all the others overlapped the ones below them. The seven strakes on each side were 4.5 cm thick; the sheer strake was 5.3 to 5.7 cm. thick. Long and short arms of floor timbers were alternated.1
