Vasa (1628)

This was a nearly complete 64-gun warship that sank in Stockholm harbor on its maiden voyage. When raised as a unit, masts and elaborate bow and stern carvings were still in place. It has been fully conserved and is now in its own museum in Stockholm. ¹
