Charred timbers suggested that this ship had been set afire before it sank.<br />
The keel has a flat upper surface and U-shaped sides and bottom; thus its 6 cm molded dimension applies only at the centerline. The garboards were riveted to the upper keel sides.<br />
Planking scarfs are expertly fashioned tongue scarfs. Cross-sectional planking shapes varied considerably.<br />
Floor timber molded dimensions varied from as much as 36 cm over the keel to as little as 1 cm at their upper ends.<br />
The keelson did not survive.<br />
