The NAPwiki is an effort by students and faculty of the Nautical Archaeology Program at Texas A&M University to collate and share resources useful to academics in the field of nautical / maritime archaeology. In its current state, it is not an effort to recreate Wikipedia, but rather to share certain resources that can be immediately useful to researchers, especially annotated bibliographies, foreign-language glossaries and English definitions.

Please be careful about posting subjective information or personal opinions in the entries. Stick to published information, unless the unpublished information you wish to share is your intellectual property. The NAPwiki operates under the GNU Free Documentation License 1.2, which gives others permission to edit and redistribute the information freely. Therefore, please be careful to ensure your entries are factual and accurate so that the information contained within these pages are beneficial and reflect positively ourselves, and upon the Nautical Archaeology Program as a whole.
