This Portugese frigate was sunk during the siege of Fort Jesus at Mombasa, Kenya, where it had been sent to relieve the forces there. It was originally constructed as an East Indiaman at Goa in 1681. The excavation has produced many artifacts, rigging remains, a chain pump, and cannon. 1
