Denbigh Benefit Dinner

The Denbigh Project hosted a benefit dinner at the Bob Smith Yacht Club in Galveston on March 11, 2000. About seventy guests attended, including descendants of Denbigh crew members Robert Horlock and Charles W. Pickering. The evening's entertainment featured music by the Barquentones of the 1877 Iron Barque Elissa and a presentation on the Denbigh Project.

The Denbigh Project owes a debt of gratitude to Evangeline Whorton of Galveston, the Barquentones and all the volunteers who made the evening such a success.
