VI. SIXTH-CENTURY GREEK SHIPS ON VASES
Representations of ships of this period can be found in the various volumes of the CVA and anywhere else that black figure pottery is shown. A list of such representations, complied by M.L. Katzev for a University of Pennsylvania seminar in the 1960s, follows. Since then, of course, Morrison and Williams, Greek Oared Ships has appeared.
