-GIS Specialist for Coastline Terminals legal case. Client attempting to prove environmental conditions existed prior to their ownership of site. Georeferenced a series of historic maps keeping careful record of control points, residuals, and total RMS error. -Created shoreline layers from georeferenced maps. Produced maps for use in court. -Project Archaeologist/Supervisor for Elizabeth Mine Site historic/archaeological mapping and testing, Strafford, VT. At the time of the project the Elizabeth Mine was the largest EPA superfund clean-up undertaken by the US Army Corps of Engineers, New England District. Project included GPS mapping of approximately 460 acres, as well as archaeological excavations and traditional mapping of industrial and domestic features, some located on steep slopes. Participated (with Paul White) in the creation of a GIS database for the site that included existing conditions, historic images, and site maps. Project Number 1237.03
-Project Archaeologist/Supervisor for Ely Mine Site Phase I, Vershire, VT. Project included GPS mapping of approximately 300 acres, as well as archaeological excavations and traditional mapping of industrial features and a village consisting of more than 80 buildings. May-October 2000: Lake Champlain Maritime Museum, Vergennes, VT: Conservation Technician/Underwater Archaeology Intern.
- Documentation of submerged early 20th century barges, Alburg, NY. Vessel recording, drafting, and site description.
- Conservation of iron (wrought and cast), wood, bone, ceramic, and copper alloys. Conservation projects included a 1.5 ton composite (wood/wrought iron) War of 1812 anchor, artifacts from Fort Ticonderoga, and a mid 19 th century brass cornet.
- Artifact rendering and photography (traditional and digital).
- Established the computerized database for the conservation laboratory utilizing PastPerfect software.
- Editing, organizing, and managing a proposal to the State of New York to establish and manage an underwater historic shipwreck preserve system on Lake Champlain. Task included writing numerous chapters.
- Interpretation to the public of the conservation laboratory and conservation techniques.

2003: Forensic Archaeology Recovery (FAR) Team - The Station nightclub fire site, West Warwick, RI. FAR (founded and directed by Dr. Richard Gould, Brown University) applies archaeological methods at disaster sites to recover human remains and personal effects.

2002: Maryland Shipyards - Organizer/Director. Reconnaissance pedestrian survey to identify shipyard sites on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Succeeded in locating one previously unidentified 19 th century shipyard.

2002: Norton Copper Works Site - GPS and traditional mapping of the layout of the site including foundations and a ¾ mile raceway.

2002: Becket Land Trust - consultant on the use of GPS/GIS to map the Becket granite quarry site. Instructed Trust members in traditional mapping of the various structures, foundations, and features located at the site.

2002: Whitin Park Mound, Whitinsville, MA - Public outreach archaeology. Trenched a flat-top mound containing a 19 th century fountain base with the assistance of local volunteers.

2002: Fall Brook Furnace Site, Middleboro, MA - survey mapping and test pit excavation of materials marshalling area associated with iron furnace. Area was threatened by development.

2000: Princess Charlotte, Kingston Harbor, Kingston, Ontario - Underwater documentation of British War of 1812 vessel. Assisted Dan Walker with fieldwork for MA thesis received from Texas A&M University.
