Epoxy Resin - The Marine-Tex resin will aid in the conservation of pewter artifacts. Pewter corrodes in a marine environment, with blisters forming on the surface of the metal. These blisters become voids during the conservation process. In order to strengthen and to hold the pewter together, the voids in the pewter are filled with resin prior to the conservation treatment.
