Fiberglass Woven Roving - The roving is needed to build a composite sandwich, which will support the wooden hull of the Belle during the conservation process. This internal framework will be hidden from view, as it is located between the frames and the outer planking of the vessel. This structure will stay with the Belle for all time, as the wooden timbers no longer have the necessary strength to support themselves.
