SHIP MODEL SHOP MODELING A STEAM ENGINE Motion JPEG of 320x240 image

Glenn has started preliminary work on the construction of the steam engine from the Red River Wreck. The model will be based on archaeological data derived from a study of the wreck of the Heroine by Dr. Kevin Crisman. After much hard work, the two models of La Belle have been completed! Click here to view the completed models. Glenn has also recently constructed a fully functional model of a capstan. The model will be used for teaching purposes in a class to be held during the Spring 2002 semester
