Rincón Shipwreck Artifacts

Some artifacts were probably lost during and after the salvage operations, others disapeared when the conservation laboratory was destroyed by a hurricane, and most of the written reports and notes about the material culture recovered from this shipwreck seems to be lost or dispersed. We are currently trying to assemble as much information about the 1980s salvage operations as possible. Below are the arifacts we have been able to trace.

This project was possible through the generous support of Mr. Charles Consolvo and the Institute of Nautical Archaeology, the Spain-USA Foundation, Dr. and Mrs. Peter Amaral, and CMAC.
